One of the features of miniExtensions Form is the ability to autosubmit after being prefilled, which is particularly useful for automating workflows and reducing manual input. This feature allows you to edit Airtable records with a single click, track activity seamlessly, or trigger workflows like updating a database or logging actions.
After enabling the “Automatically submit form after prefill” option in the settings, you can trigger a submission with a single click by adding parameters to your URL, like this:

Use Cases
This feature can be useful in a lot of scenarios. You can use it for:
- Using a QR code scanner for quick attendees check-in inventory management..etc.
- Sending an email verification request (e.g. click to verify your address).
- Trigger workflows linked to Airtable records being updated or created.
- Building an approval workflow logic in a shared view (e.g. click to approve attachment/mark task as completed).
- Capture geolocation and IP address data without further interation.
