Bitly Shorten URLs reads long URLs from Airtable and saves the short links returned by Bitly in another field. Use it to prepare concise links for messages, printed material, or other workflows that read from your base.
What you can do
- Use your own Bitly access token.
- Read one long URL from each processed record.
- Write the generated short link into the selected output field.
Use cases and examples
A communications team can keep a campaign’s original landing-page URL alongside a short link for an email template. Other workflows can read the short-link field once the automation has completed.

How to get started
Create a Bitly access token, add it to your miniExtensions workspace, and select it in the automation. Choose the long-URL and short-URL fields, test a valid destination, and set how existing outputs should be handled.
Good to know
A Bitly account and access token are required. This configuration creates short links; it does not import analytics or select custom slugs.
