Add Watermarks to Images stored in Airtable

Automatically watermark images stored in Airtable attachments!

Apply a repeating watermark to image attachments stored in Airtable. The miniExtensions Add Watermark to Images automation tiles your uploaded watermark across supported images and saves the processed copies in an output attachment field.

What you can do

  • Apply a repeating watermark to image attachments.
  • Adjust watermark size and opacity.
  • Save watermarked copies separately from originals.

A repeating overlay

Upload the watermark image and set its opacity and size. The watermark is repeated across the source image, and its size scales as a percentage of the image’s smaller dimension. A transparent PNG can overlay photographs without a solid background.

Use separate source and output fields to retain clean originals and create marked previews for review or delivery. Test several image compositions to choose an appearance that works across the collection.

This differs from Add Logo to Images, which places one logo in a selected position. A watermark is part of the processed image, so retain the originals if you may need unmarked versions or a different design later.

A practical example

A photographer can keep original files in one attachment field and generate visibly watermarked previews in another. The previews can be used in the team’s existing review or delivery workflow, while the original files remain available separately.

How to get started

Choose source and output image fields, upload your watermark, and set its size and opacity. Check samples before running in bulk.

Good to know

A watermark is a visible mark, rather than access control. Keep originals if you also need unmarked images.
