Contact details and import
Map names, email addresses, phone numbers, and the other contact details supported by the configuration. Each processed Airtable record produces its own vCard attachment, allowing you to distribute or download the contacts individually.
A contact directory can use these files for a team handoff or to let someone add a contact without copying each detail manually. Keep the source fields organized so names and communication details appear as intended after import.
The output uses vCard 3.0, and contact applications can display imported details differently. Test a representative file in the intended application before generating a large collection. Later Airtable changes require a new file; they are not automatically synchronized into someone’s address book.
A practical example
An event team can maintain attendee names, organizations, work emails, and telephone numbers in Airtable. Generate a contact card per attendee, then distribute the relevant .vcf file through the team’s existing delivery workflow.
The recipient decides whether to import that contact into their preferred application.
