Extract Text From PDF Attachments on Airtable

Search through documents by using filters. No need to download attachments

Need to search through a bunch of PDF files? Convert them to text! This automation will extract the text from each PDF attachment and then add it back to Airtable in a new field as plain text.

Note: This automation is not an OCR tool (optical character recognition). It can only extract text from a PDF if it’s plain text. This automation will not be able to extract the text from scanned PDF documents. Try uploading your PDF to this website. If it says “Text objects not found.”, then your PDF file will not work with our automation.
