Dynamic Redirect URL creates a record-specific link whose destination is controlled by a field in Airtable. Keep sharing the same generated link while changing the destination value in that record when the target page moves.
What you can do
- Generate a redirect-link formula for the selected table.
- Read the record’s current destination when a link is opened.
- Optionally show a lookup page so users can find a record before redirecting.
Example workflow
A printed QR code can point to a stable redirect link for an asset. When that asset’s instruction page changes, update the destination in Airtable rather than replacing the printed code.
How to get started
Select your table and destination URL field, then copy the generated formula into Airtable. Test an initial destination and a changed destination.

Links depend on the source record and configured destination. Lookup helps find a record; it does not verify identity.
