Website Screenshot Generator opens public URLs stored in Airtable and saves a screenshot as an image attachment. Use it to capture a visual preview of a page at the time the automation runs.
What you can do
- Read one webpage URL per record.
- Capture a PNG image using a 1280 × 720 browser viewport.
- Save the screenshot in the selected output attachment field.
Use cases and examples
A design review table can capture the top portion of public landing pages for comparison. Keep the source URL alongside the image so a reviewer can open the full page when more context is needed.
- Listings and landing pages: Capture visible page snapshots of public listings, landing pages, or property and location pages for review.
- Design approvals: Save webpage screenshots as attachment references during a design approval process.
- Audit evidence and page previews: Capture public webpage evidence or previews of third-party pages in a research or audit workflow.
- Visual-change comparisons: Keep earlier screenshots in a separate archive when comparing a page over time; updating an output field alone does not maintain a historical archive.
How to get started
Choose the input URL and output attachment fields, then test the kinds of pages you plan to capture. Inspect the screenshot and select how existing images should be handled on later runs.
Good to know
Screenshots capture the visible viewport, not the entire scrolling page. URLs must be publicly accessible.
