Add linked records by typing their names

We launched a new feature in our portal extension that allows you link a record with a click. It’s a better alternative in most use cases.

Let non-Airtable users link records between tables with a few clicks. This extension adds a formula field that generates a unique URL for every record. When that URL is clicked, it brings up a page that has a pre-defined lookup field(s). When the user fills it in with a valid value(s), the record gets linked automatically.

Use Cases

This extension can be useful in a lot of scenarios. You can use it for:

  • Booking an appointment
  • Registering in an event
